The Tree Top Skewered Apple BBQ benefits The Yakima Valley Museum, a nationally accredited museum that explores every aspect of Yakima Valley heritage from its natural history, American Indian culture, and pioneer and early city life to the roots and development of the Valley’s fruit industry. The museum houses over 38,000 objects and more than 40,000 documents and photographs, including an interactive children’s learning center and functioning replica of a late 1930s Art Deco soda fountain. There’s no way to appreciate the present than to delve into the past.
